Scottish Sports Aid is a registered charity founded in 1980 based in Edinburgh. They help young and disabled sporting stars achieve their full potential to represent Scotland in their chosen sport.
Since 1980, the charity have awarded more than 4000 individual grants, over a wide range of sports, from Athletics to Hockey, and Swimming to Trampolining.
In 2011 alone, nearly 250 athletes received a grant from Scottish Sport Aid from over 30 sports and disciplines.
